My experience at LOCOMeX encompassed two slightly different roles. I initially started with data science/engineering. I worked with a Lead Data Scientist and other analysts to build a web scraping tool that fed into the company proprietary database/registry. This was used to drive analytics efforts through the SaaS platform and to build/evaluate prediction models for Environmental compliance. During my second term at LOCOMeX, I had the opportunity to drive sales and business development efforts as a Sales Engineer. Collaborating with the Product team, we leveraged customer feedback and digital go-to-market channels to improve the unique selling proposition and garner customer traction. I now have the ability to approach problems from both a technical and strategic business perspective, making me a well-rounded candidate for roles that require multidisciplinary expertise.
